As a local Houston organization with humble beginnings in Humble, starting all the way back in 1990, our mission has always been to provide your pet with the best, all-inclusive care you could imagine. This is what separated us from the traditional Kennel back then, and still does today.

Our Boarding Services

When we think of boarding our pets, unfortunately, a lot of times we end up picturing something closer to a jail cell than we do a fantastical resort. Here at Dog’s Day Inn, we like to pride ourselves on being the latter. Just like you might find at your own human hotel, our kennel offers colored TVs playing your dogs’ favorite movies and programs all day long.

If your dog is more of a swimmer or a track star we have plenty of space for them and their new friends to run, play, and swim in our state-of-the-art full-sized pool and huge play yards. All of our yards are surrounded by a 6-foot fence, so your dog can run and play worry-free. Our training sessions also include unstructured playtime, so your pup can learn and put those new skills to the test, all while gaining valuable socialization time!

If security and safety are your top priorities, then you’ve come to the right place. Your at-home escape artist is going to have a difficult time cracking the code on this one. If your pet needs to be trained, groomed, or needs special attention/care, we are here to provide all of the above. Our training program is a 14-day beginner course to help your dog understand the five essential commands (Sit, Down, Stay, Heel, and Come) without using treats or any electric devices. Every day a trainer will work one-on-one with your furry friend, using praise to incentivize your dog to listen to the commands; this process helps your dog internalize the behavior in a way that a ‘reward’ isn’t the motivating factor.

With both structured training and unstructured play time during our training, your dog is going to enjoy doing what they do best, and that’s being a dog. Your pet is also welcome to have their own toys and bed while they stay with us.

Our grooming services are top-of-the-line. Our groomers have experience with many different dog breeds with a minimum of seven years of grooming experience. You can meet and discuss with them what the best look for your best friend will be. We also offer our grooming services standalone from our kennel services for an additional fee.
