Exercise and Activites

We understand that dogs need exercise during their days, and we will make sure your dog gets the right amount for their bodies. All dogs are not built the same; for the most part, each dog requires different attention and special needs. Dog Day’s Inn is proud to offer a full-size swimming pool for your dog’s aquatic needs. Pet parents, please understand that we will let your dog swim freely for 20-minute duration periods, so they do not get tired from their days with us.

Our pool time is for those who enjoy the water and playing with other dogs. We also encourage this time for older dogs to work out their joints in a gentle way to continue to be active. Additionally, do not worry about your dog who can’t seem to figure out dog-paddling as we provide buoyancy jackets to help them.

We also provide plenty of outdoor playtime for each dog in our safe and secured yards. These yards are aligned with six-foot-tall sturdy fences that not even the best escape artist can get out of. We make sure our facility is stocked with new toys for each dog to play with and enjoy themselves. Come check out everything we have to offer for your dog in our play areas!

Boarding

If you enjoy our daycare services, we would also like to extend our care programs in our overnight boarding program. This program is the same as the daycare as we will accommodate your dog for everything they need. We have numerous different options to choose from with our dog suites for them to stay in. These suites are made to let a dog have their own private unwinding time from their busy days. Dog Day’s Inn wants to give your dog the most comfortable stay we possibly can.

As dog experts, we are also dog lovers and understand the needs of your dog. While you are gone, your dog might begin to feel lonely and miss you. We will make it our job to be by their side and comfort them when they need it, so they do not feel stressed. Monitoring your dog’s behavior is essential as we have animal behaviorists making sure your dog is in good mental health.

Training

Additionally, we have a fantastic training program that we would like to offer to those who want overnight boarding and obedience training. This program allows us to work one on one with your dog to give them the proper teachings of manners and verbal hand signals. Upon your arrival, we will ask you to bring toys and other comfort items for your animal. If they are on a special diet, we ask you also to bring their food to maintain their feeding.

When you drop off your dog, the training will begin as we will use our “on lead” program to lead them to be better dogs. This program uses only a leash and collar to train as we do not believe in teaching devices. For 14 days, your dog will progress in our plan to become more obedient. By the time you pick your dog up, we will teach you what we taught your dog. This will help continue your dog’s learning.
